Morning sessions
Saturday June 11th / Sunday June 12th / Monday June 13th, 11 am @ Tribera
The Moers Improviser in Residence 2008 and the morning-curator for the last time, Angelika Niescier, will be continuing the tradition of the morning sessions. Because of the intimate atmosphere of the small venue, the audience will become up, close and personal witnesses of big and small surprises, the motto being ''place and space for new experiences''. Musicians coming from diverse backgrounds and from various groups from the main- and side-programmes will encounter one-another and surely strike some groovy chords.
As the final cast will only take on its definite shape shortly before to the festival, the element of surprise and excitement on the morning will be just as big for the performers as for the audience.

解説文によると...メールスのインプロヴァイザーインレジデンス2008だったAngelika Niescierが今回もモーニングセッションを企画。出演者を身近に感じることができる小さめの会場で、観客の皆さんには、会場の規模に縛られないさまざまな大きさの驚きを目の当たりにしていただけます。モットーは「新しい実験の場」。幅広い背景を持つミュージシャンたちや、メインプログラムとサイドプログラムの出演グループからのミュージシャンたちが互いに出会うことで、新たなグルーヴが生まれること必至...ということらしいです。
